Evan Bourne was recently suspended for 60 days for a 2nd violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. For those unfamiliar with how it works first violation you get 30 days 2nd violation 60 days. This initiative was put into place after the murder/suicide/death of Chris Beniot and how it was linked to several issues with mental and physical health some of it most likely brought on by drugs he was taking. While most WWE superstars are not in risk of becoming psychopaths due to drugs the government and media has now placed the WWE under a microscope and they must comply and change with the times. Now rumors are first time Evan was suspended it was for smoking weed, how Kofi Kingston wasn’t caught is a mystery for the ages. Now it has not been released why Evan was suspended for 60 days but regardless it cost team Air Boom their precious tag team titles, and this was after WWE showed some major grace giving the belt right back to the team after Evan was suspended not too long ago.
Evan had this to say on his twitter account:
Sorry ya’ll sometimes we become our own worst enemy.
Sorry doesn’t really cut it Evan, when you are a tag team partner you bring the team down with stuff like this and this is the 2nd time you’ve done this to poor Kofi whom apparently you are friends with backstage. Of course Evan is rumored to be in the doghouse for allegedly trying to throw Kofi under the bus at one point during the 1st debacle. It’s hard to say if that’s true, whether it is or isn’t nobody can deny getting caught so soon again is throwing many under the bus. This may have been Evan’s last real chance to make an impact in wrestling. I personally have never been that impressed with him. (Cue Indy smartmarks rants.) I mean he’s more talented than Jeff Hardy for sure and I wouldn’t call him just a spot monkey, but there ain’t nothing much past his flips and kicks. I’m more of a fan of Kofi, ever since he dropped his ridiculous accent he’s really become an enjoyable wrestler. Too bad Evan is killing him. Anytime you lose tag titles at a house show you know someone in the WWE really wants to screw with you.
This is the Bourne trilogy: Bourne will be suspended again and thus promptly fired. I have little faith that he will be able to change his ways, he seems intent on self sabotage. I can’t say that I will miss him, and he will probably then go on to be on temporary contract with TNA because they will take just about anyone. So here is your ultimatum Bourne: stop smoking weed/taking steroids and get back to work! You have potential but you really are messing up right now. You don’t get a lot of chances in this business, and up until this past year nobody really was. Maybe Bourne can turn it around like Randy Orton did, but I feel this high flyer is about to crash and burn.
Meal of the Week: Hey guys! Looking to make some quick and easy vegetable soup? First you’ll need a vegetable broth (try to be healthy and get a low sodium concoction.) Then you’ll need some potatoes, about one and a half potatoes per person eating the soup. Then get some peas, corn, dice up some tomato, celery and carrots and then let it cook on a low heat. Depending on size of pot will determine cooking time to check on it from time to time and stir occasionally. Add your own spices and herbs at your discretion though I recommend black pepper. Do not add salt! Salt masks flavor it doesn’t enhance it. Remember to dice big pieces of the potatoes otherwise the heat will melt them down and you’ll end up with really mushy soup. Hope you enjoy it!
